Dr. Brett Young

Dr. Brett Young

BSc, D.C.

Dr. Young graduated with honours as a Doctor of Chiropractic from the esteemed Palmer College of Chiropractic in February of 2021. He is also a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University, where he obtained a BSc in Human Kinetics in 2017.

A proud Ontarian, Dr. Young was born in Markham, and raised in Uxbridge where he still currently resides and practices. He believes in and practices evidence-based chiropractic, allowing him to offer the best care to all of his patients.

As a lifelong athlete, Dr. Young enjoys helping his patients reach peak performance in their sports, or hobbies. While growing up playing sports, Dr. Young was a regular chiropractic patient, and always went to his chiropractor whenever he was injured. His chiropractor (Dr. Peter Begg) was always able to help out, but in ways that Dr. Young did not understand. This curiosity led Dr. Young on a path to understand chiropractic, and care for his patients the same way he was cared for.

Dr. Anita Raghubir

Dr. Anita Raghubir

BSc, D.C.

Dr. Anita Raghubir grew up an athlete participating in a multitude of sports such as gymnastics, figure skating, basketball and volleyball. This drove her fascination in human kinetics and furthered her drive to become a chiropractor. She studied Kinesiology and Psychology at York University where she graduated in 2017. She later received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly NYCC).

After spending some time in Orlando working with a wide spectrum of clients, she has returned back to Ontario where she hopes to continue empowering others through movement. As a ICPA-certified chiropractor, trained in Webster Technique, Dr. Anita enjoys seeing children and their mamas (pregnancy and postpartum). She also has certifications in athletic taping, Sports & Human Performance, Nimmo trigger point therapy, Advanced Lower Extremity Movement Analysis & Custom Stabilizing Orthotics, and is working towards an acupuncture certification.

She is dedicated to assessing and treating problem areas with chiropractic care along with optimizing overall mobility and functionality for all her clients. In her free time she spends her time skiing, playing volleyball, baking macarons, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Shane Kenning graduated Summa Cum Laude, and with Clinic Honours from Life Chiropractic College West in 2019. Prior to that, Dr. Shane obtained his Honors Bachelor of Science from University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, majoring in both Human Biology and Psychology.

Dr. Shane believes in a holistic approach to treatment and specializes in optimizing function and motion within the spine. He is trained in many different chiropractic techniques and will find the right one for each patient based on their needs. This includes treatment of extremities.

His goal is to allow patients to perform the activities they love for as long as possible throughout their lifetime, as well as bringing patients back to that level if they are not there.

In his off time, Dr. Shane enjoys playing hockey, soccer and golf, as well as video games and board games.

Dr. Young is awesome and seems to genuinely care about his patients.  He made my first visit very welcoming and I walked out feeling amazing.
